Delete Your Pulpit & Pew Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and associated data from Pulpit & Pew, an app by Leo Dawn LLC.

How to request deletion

Pulpit & Pew doesn't yet have a self-service "delete my account" button, so this is a manual, request-based process:

1. Email contact@leodawn.org from the email address associated with your account (the one you signed in with, or used at checkout).
2. If your church has a church code (format SE-XXXX-XXXX), include it — this lets us find your church's billing record and any synced content quickly.
3. State what you want deleted — your whole account, or only specific data (for example, just your synced sermon audio, or just your church's billing record) while keeping the rest of your account active.

We process deletion requests manually and will confirm by email once complete. Because a person reviews each request, you don't have to delete your entire account to have specific data removed — say what you want gone and we'll act on exactly that.

What gets deleted

• Your local sign-in profile (name, email) and, if used, your Google or Apple sign-in link (email, name, and account ID we hold for it).
• Your church's billing record (email, church name, Stripe reference IDs — never card details, which Stripe holds directly and which this request doesn't affect).
• Any sermon content and audio synced to our servers under a Whole-Church Bundle or Multi-site plan's sync feature, if you used it.
• Your device's push-notification token and church join-code tag, if you joined a congregation.

What's retained, and for how long

Sermon recordings, transcripts, and generated content that only ever lived on your own device are not affected by this request at all — we never had a copy. Separately, we may keep minimal transaction records (not deleted on request) if Stripe or tax law requires retaining them for accounting or fraud-prevention purposes; this is limited to billing metadata, never sermon content. Anonymized, aggregate usage counts you may have opted into sharing (State of the Pulpit) contain no names, emails, or sermon text, and are not personally identifiable, so they are not part of an account-deletion request.

Uninstalling the app deletes everything stored locally on your device immediately — that part requires no request to us at all.
