Pulpit & Pew Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Pulpit & Pew, provided by Leo Dawn LLC ("we," "us"). By using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. What Pulpit & Pew is

Pulpit & Pew helps pastors and church staff turn a preached sermon into a week of related ministry content using a combination of on-device tools and, when your plan includes it, AI-assisted generation. The app works fully offline in a limited draft mode with no account or payment required; AI-powered generation requires an active church license.

2. Accounts and church licenses

You can use Pulpit & Pew locally with just a name and email, no verification required. Signing in with Google is optional and adds identity verification and cross-device settings sync. Church licenses are sold separately on the web, billed through Stripe, and unlock AI-powered generation, higher usage limits, and (on team plans) cross-device sermon sync. 3. Your content

You own the sermons, transcripts, and content you create or generate using Pulpit & Pew. We don't claim any ownership over it. You're responsible for the content you input and for the accuracy of anything you publish using content the app generated.

4. AI-generated content — read this carefully

Pulpit & Pew's AI features are designed to reorganize and extend what you actually preached, not to invent new doctrine, scripture citations, or theological claims. But AI-generated content can still be wrong, and you are always responsible for reviewing it before you use, publish, or share it — especially for features like Church Fathers references, which cite historical works you should independently verify before relying on them. We do not guarantee the theological or historical accuracy of any AI-generated content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pulpit & Pew to generate or distribute unlawful or infringing content, to circumvent usage limits or billing, to abuse our backend services, or to share congregation content with anyone outside your own church without their consent to join.

6. Third-party services

Pulpit & Pew depends on third-party providers (Anthropic, Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend, OneSignal, Google). We aren't responsible for outages or errors in these providers' own services.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. The offline draft mode is designed to keep working with zero setup even if cloud features are ever unavailable.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Pulpit & Pew is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leo Dawn LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You can stop using Pulpit & Pew at any time by uninstalling the app. Church licenses can be canceled through Stripe's customer portal. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

If we materially change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and make a reasonable effort to notify active church license holders of significant changes.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
